A very interesting photo taken some time later than the previous photos 1937, it clearly shows development has started on Studfall Ave. and as you can see the roads have already been laid out.

The centre of the picture shows what we call the Open-Hearth roundabout, named after the pub erected a little later. House building by now was down to a fine art, in less than two years Stewarts & Lloyds would have concluded their housing plans and the centre of the picture will be covered with newly erected housing.
